I'm committed to providing patient-centered care with a focus on prioritizing overall wellness and preventative health. I am grateful to serve my community and build strong relationships with my patients and their families to empower them to lead healthier and happier lives.
In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs?
A primary care provider should be a patient's go-to point of contact for not only physical but also mental health concerns. Optimal health and wellness include the integration of behavioral health and primary care services thereby enhancing compliance with preventive care, improving the effectiveness of chronic disease treatment, and helping engage patients in self-management to improve lifestyle behaviors that improve overall quality of life.
Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and my American bulldog named Leroy.
