A Detroit, MI native, she attended the University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology and Cognitive Sciences. She achieved her Doctorate of Medicine at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. Her Obstetrics and Gynecology training took place at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit. Before joining Waldorf Women’s Care, she practiced at Walnut Lake OB/GYN in West Bloomfield, MI and Northwest Women’s Care in Southfield.
Dr. King seeks out the most current medical trends and technology to give her patients the best available care and options. Her interests include general obstetric care, adolescent gynecology, the treatment and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases and minimally invasive surgery. Outside of the office, she also supports women and girls through mentoring and is active in a variety of community projects. Dr. King lives in Waldorf, MD with her husband and two sons.
