As a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and owner of Painted Rock Family Medicine, it has been a dream of mine to have a Primary Care Practice that takes into consideration patients’ complaints and offers a well-rounded approach. We offer many options with treatment that includes a wholistic approach to “Balanced Healthcare” with diet, exercise & stretching, weight loss strategies, and hormone optimization.
I believe that patients should pursue “Balanced Healthcare for a Balanced Life”. My background includes over 35 years in Nursing, with a comprehensive knowledge base in a variety fields of medicine. Some of the most unique and challenging professional experiences have occurred in West Yellowstone, Montana where I provided Primary Care for a small town. I became the front-line provider for a large seasonal influx of tourists who visited Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Tetons for our pristine wilderness setting. Patients who would unexpectedly tangle with bison, white water rafting, accidents, snow machines or other mishaps while vacationing.
Immediately after graduating from UNC-Greeley in 2002, I started to serve West Yellowstone, and in 2011 moved to Eaton, Colorado to serve Dairy farmers and Oil men and their families. Now after 22 years in Primary Care/ Family Medicine, I am excited to serve the community of Parker Colorado with my own Family Medicine Clinic, as their “Country DOC in the City”.
Painted Rock Family Medicine provides care for people ages 1 and up. We are focused on working with our patients to achieve their healthcare goals. We see patients for annual exams, problem visits, sick visits, mental health, small procedures, and much more.

Where to begin… I came here to get Nexplanon removal and it was by far the most uncomfortable & unprofessional medical procedure, which I have had before with ZERO pain. She didn’t have enough space in the office to perform but did so anyways & dug around in my arm for nearly 20 minutes before getting help for another 10 minutes. It took so long the numbing cream wore off halfway thru. As I said, I’ve had this before and it was free with the same insurance. This office charges way more… Then lets not forget that as a first time client seeking only a procedure, she gave me unsolicited medical advice in regards to my mental health without more than a 3 minute conversation. I absolutely did not seek nor appreciate this advice; nor the political commentary she gave me either. Oh, how could I forget the office smelt like a pet store with backed up sewage. There’s a reason they have more availability than others… please save yourself the pain & avoid Darlene.

I absolutely loved seeing Darla Pearce. I have always searched for a doctor that listens and actually takes care of you without preconceived ideas. She is the perfect balance between holistic and western medicine. I would highly recommend her if you want to be treated like a person and not a paycheck. :)

The office was very, very far from my part of town, I looked, & looked for other service providers by changing the zip code, to find the type of provider that I needed, but the zocdoc app, just continued to go to the list of doctors in Parker, Co. I did make the appointment, I had made 2 appointments with other Dr.s/RNP, earlier last week, but the RNP canceled, & then I could not find that one closer to my part of town. For it took 1.5 hours to drive to, & 1.5 hours to drive home. I think I will find a closer place, referenced. the whole experience, of being away from familiarity was good, RNP was very nice, compassionate. I liked the office. I felt I had to go the distance because of the nature of the problem, the lack of availability of the OBGYN services near my location, And the fact that the zocdoc was stuck on that continual cluster of doctors over there in Parker, Colorado. whilst I live in the Arvada area. it was too dangerous,

Literally charged me a co pay to refer my husband back to his doctor. Yes thanks I could have done that for free.
When a patient is having a mental health crisis. You can at least pretend to care. Put in a psych referral - not push him off on a primary who is booked out for weeks during the holidays. That helps NO ONE.
Let me guess, since he was darker skinned you assumed he was hitting you up for meds? This is a telehealth visit. You can’t prescribe anything a drug addict would want. So I am not sure why you couldn’t be bothered taking his concerns seriously and referring him to the proper channels.
My husband went to lay down in bed in defeat because you did ZERO to get the ball rolling for him to get him help. He is a father to two. And a great man. Who deserved more compassion and consideration in his time of need.
Doctors are to do no harm. Maybe consider this next time you want to dismiss someone telling you the embarrassing parts of his mental health he doesn’t like talking about ?
Your front office was great. The only reason why I gave some decent stars. You could learn something from them. Treat people like humans. Regardless their skin color and what they are seeing you for.
I don’t typically write bad reviews. But I booked you for my husband to start getting him the helped he need. You failed to do anything. Except collect a co pay and an insurance check.
