Dr. Wong is an infectious disease physician with an expertise in the management of complicated infections. He received his medical degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. He received advanced residency and fellowship training at tertiary university hospitals in both Philadelphia and New York City.
Dr. Wong’s current research is focused on examining empiric antibiotic therapy for sepsis. He has a particular focus on the management of multi-drug resistant bacterial infections and Clostridium Difficile disease. Additionally, he is very committed to medical education and has significant teaching responsibilities for resident and fellow doctors-in-training. He is also actively involved in hospital infection control and antimicrobial stewardship, and the integration both programs to optimize clinical care.
