Dr. Darryn Band completed his undergraduate education at Tulane University in 1985. In 1989 he received his medical degree from University of Maryland at Baltimore. He is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is an Associate Clinical Professor at George Washington University. His medical interests include minimally invasive surgery, i.e. laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, high risk obstetrics and basic infertility. He is married and has three children Dr. Band is no longer perfoming obstetrical procedures at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital.
