Dr Allingham was wonderful! He was very direct and straight-to-the point. He definitely has the patient's best interest at heart. I left the appointment feeling 100% better than when I went in just because of the advice he had to offer. He put my mind at ease. A true professional!

David Allingham, M.D. is an entirely American trained family physician serving the Washington metro area. Well respected by local physicians and the surrounding communities including Vienna, McLean, Great Falls, and Fairfax, he has been in private practice for 20 years. Raised in Virginia, he completed his training at George Washington University, Georgetown University, University of Louisville, and Eastern Virginia Medical School.
He welcomes any family or individual for any urgent or primary care or chronic need, and is regionally renowned for his expertise in Lyme disease and poly substance abuse detox.

Dr. Allingham was very receptive to my issues and needs. He's extremely knowledgeable...he understands the science and chemistry of medicine, unlike most doctors. He was so chill, compared to other stick-in-the-mud docs, and that immediately made me feel comfortable. He truly does care about his patients, their well-being and their recovery. That's hard to find.
