I got there early and waited over an hour to be seen. Once I was with the Doctor, he listened to everything I had to say and offered me several options. We did X-rays and I just scheduled another appointment to come back for treatment. Other than waiting for a really, really long time to be seen, everything went well.

David Amaro-Driedger, M.D., is an Anesthesiologist and Interventional Pain Management Physician. He grew up in Tyler, Texas, and attended Texas A&M University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in History.
While in college, he was a cofounding member of the educational non-profit organization, Dosah Consulting Group. He then went on to attend medical school at the University of Texas McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas. Next, he completed a four-year residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Kentucky and was distinguished for American Board of Anesthesiology scores in the top 10% nationwide on the ABA Basic Exam while in training. He then moved to Nashville, Tennessee to complete a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Amaro-Driedger has had extensive training covering all aspects of chronic pain medicine.
He approaches chronic pain with a multidisciplinary approach including epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablations, peripheral nerve blocks, sympathetic blocks, spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, joint injections, and medication options. In his spare time, Dr. Amaro-Driedger enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, helping his family raise cattle and flying small planes.
