Dr. Arbesfeld earned his medical degree from the prestigious Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and completed his undergraduate education at Yeshiva University. His postgraduate training included:
An internal medicine internship at Maimonides Medical Center in New York.
A dermatology residency and fellowship at the Rutgers Universities Biomedical and Health Sciences, formerly the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).
Dr. Arbesfeld is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and has served as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Dermatology at UMDNJ and supervised the Mohs surgery section. Dr. Arbesfeld is truly a great doctor! He explained to me my condition in easy to understand language, not in some medical lingo, like other doctors like to do. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately many Dermatologists are unethical and for a simple case of psoriasis try and get you to take light treatments or they prescribe expensive medicine from companies who pay them off. DR Arbesteld prescribed a simple cream and told me to come back only if I need to. Great doctor and a man of integrity.
