Dr. David Carlson has been a fixture in the Dallas medical community for over 30 years. It was during his last year of residency in Family Practice that he began moonlighting at what was then called the St. Paul Medical Center. Just a few years later he bought the clinic. And, the rest as they say is history. He's worked hard to make BestCare the right choice for Family Care, Urgent Care, and Emergency Care in Garland.
Carlson is a proud graduate of the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. Prior to which, he finished his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas in Austin. Raised in Dallas since the age of six, the doctor holds numerous ties to the local community. In fact, he went to school just down the road at Richardson High.
An avid history buff, Carlson loves collecting antiques, rare books, plus old 8 and 16mm movies. Not to mention, staying busy with a wonderful family during his spare time.

I really like Dr. Carlson and his staff. He and his PA Toni Smith-WhiteEagle listen to the their patients. They don't just rush in and rush out. They talk to you and actually look over your previous paperwork in you files.
