Dr. Dorbad is an amazing physician, extremely personable, very friendly and knowledgable. He addressed my 11 year old and made him feel extremely comfortable and was amazing with my 6 month old. Excellent Pediatrian!!

As your pediatrician, my goal is to help you and your family to care for your child. Besides thorough evaluations with minimal waiting times, I offer direct personal 24/7 coverage to my patients through phone and e-mail. Apple pediatrics is affiliated with Mt. Sinai, St. Luke's-Roosevelt, and Cornell Medical Centers.
Dr. Dorbad has practiced pediatrics since 2005. He grew up in Medford, New Jersey and attended college at The University of Virginia, studying Physics. After college, he received his medical degree and residency training from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. After training, Dr. Dorbad spent 8 years in a successful pediatric practice in Chesapeake, Virginia. He now lives in New York City and plans on growing a high quality primary care pediatric practice by joining Apple Pediatrics.
Dr. Dorbad has a special interest in preventative medicine. He also has a strong background in pediatric migraine headaches and behavioral medicine. He has devoted a large amount of time building community resources and outreach activities for families in need. Dr. Dorbad is the BEST pediatrician any child could have! He made sure my son played a part in his care and understood all of his diagnosis and medications. His new patients are getting an excellent pediatrician!

Dr. Dorbad is an amazing pediatrician. He plays with the kids to gain trust and that is something not seen very much now! He takes his time examining the kids and thoroughly explains everything going on! We would highly recommend him to everybody! He is truly a great doctor.
