About Dr. Abraham Thomas

Abraham Thomas, MD has been practicing pediatrics for over 30 years in the Paterson/West Orange communities, with more than 40 years of experience in clinical medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the Medical College Thiruvananthapuram, completed his internship at Medical College Hospital, and pursued fellowships at Kasturba Medical College and Saint Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Thomas has a heart for children and families and is proud to be caring for the third generation in some families. He has always believed that children are the future of our societies and focuses on helping families achieve the best outcomes for their children holistically. He is a partner in the Optum Physician Partnership program and serves in leadership roles with multiple charitable societies. Dr. Thomas is a proud father of two boys (now men) and has been married for over 30 years.
