Dr. David Dufour graduated from Life Chiropractic College West with honors. He is certified in traumatic spinal injury through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. He is a certified Active Release Techniques (ART) provider and specializes in soft tissue and repetitive strain injuries of the spine and the extremities. He is also a member of the Bay Area Sports Chiros group that provides onsite patient care for athletes.
As a fan of the Neuro Orthopaedic Instititue, Dr. Dufour is commited to utilizing the growing body of nervous system research in patient evaluation, treatment and management.
Dr. Dufour treats and consults with a wide variety of athletes, both professional and recreational. Prevention, intervention, and recovery are important components of improving the functional capacity of patients. When not practicing Dr. Dufour enjoys soccer, golf, and the occasional barbeque; because life is too short to cook indoors.
Dr. Dufour is a member of the San Jose SaberCats sports medicine team.
