I am a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist in Traditional Chinese Medicine, specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal, neurological, and autoimmune conditions. I earned my Master's degree from Pacific College in 2013, apprenticed for two years under Dr. Frank Butler, studying “Zheng Gui Tui Na” massage and oncology support, then an additional year with Dr. Clayton Shiu, studying the “Xing Nao Kai Qiao” technique to treat cerebrovascular disorders. Most recently I completed Botanical Biohacking’s Microbiome Mastery course and Ayla Wolff's training in treating concussions and traumatic brain injuries. I hold a black belt in shorin ry’u karate and spent 15 years doing stand-up comedy.

David brings a wealth of knowledge to his practice. As someone with limited experience with the practices of Eastern Medicine and alternative healing, David was able to provide clarification and insight into what my ailments may be. Not only was I able to learn from him, but he heals as well! Through regular sessions I was able to find pain relief in a shoulder injury as well as chest constrictions. Would recommend David Foster to anyone looking for acupuncture or Eastern medicine!

David Foster has been incredibly helpful in prescribing effective Chinese herbs and helping me find balance in my daily diet. I had been dealing with an ailment for as long as I can remember, and had seen multiple western medicine doctors to try to help. But it wasn’t until working through it with David that I have finally begun to find resolution to my issue. He’s also incredibly responsive, easy to talk to, and extremely knowledgeable. Couldn’t recommend him more!

David is so good at what he does and has made a big difference to my health. He's very personable, caring, and thorough. He made sure to understand some chronic health issues I had right away, and also always makes sure he's aware of anything that comes up from appointment to appointment. I originally saw him only for acupuncture that I thought would help with a couple of things, but eventually he ended up prescribing herbs that helped immensely with some other issues that I didn't even think could be improved. He's also really good at explaining why he does certain things/choosing different points and what it means if it feels a certain way. I find that to be really helpful!

I came to David's service as I was looking for an acupuncturist, but what I found was way more than that. David is very professional and extremely knowledgable in the different branches of Chinese Medicine ( from Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, Moxibustion, Cupping, and even some Qigong principles) . He will take the time to find the right path and techniques for your healing process, while providing you with advise on healthy daily habits.

David is extremely knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. He really listens and will go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and calm. He treated a hearing issue I had and was able to address it with acupuncture and was able to keep me relaxed despite being nervous around needles. Couldn’t recommend him enough!

He helped treat my infertility issues through acupuncture and through extensive nutritional feedback. I have a beautiful and healthy daughter at the age of 38 and I owe it to him.

David helped me during pregnancy and then with postpartum recovery, all during Covid. He has a really warm, kind, and efficient approach. I felt very safe in his care, the office is immaculate. He successfully helped me put in the "eviction notice" for my baby's birth. He then treated me in the fourth trimester, and helped me feel empowered and stronger in my body, while easing tension and pain. His communication during the process is thorough, and he has a wealth of knowledge. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND!
