Dr. David Gilbert is a board certified ophthalmologist and has completed glaucoma fellowship training at Stanford University. He received his Medical Degree from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He stayed at Wake Forest for his ophthalmology residency and served as co-chief resident. Dr. Gilbert received the Bryan Sloan Memorial Research Award twice during his residency for his publications on glaucoma surgical advances. After residency, Dr. Gilbert returned west to complete glaucoma fellowship training at Stanford University and was on the clinical staff during that time. He has authored several papers and given numerous lectures related to glaucoma care.

It was OK, the eye exam went well. I will know more about how I feel once I fill the prescription for my glasses and see if there is any improvement in my vision.
