Dr. David Horn is a thorough, compassionate optometrist treating patients in the Bronx and greater New York areas. His goal as a practitioner is to provide quality care using the latest instruments. Having trained other doctors for more than 30 years, his teaching background enhances his practice and his ability to communicate with his patients. Dr. Horn is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and speaks English, Spanish, German, and Yiddish.
Originally from the Bronx, Dr. Horn attended the State University of New York to pursue his medical degree. He now teaches at the university, delivering lectures and publishing papers on the care of glaucoma. He keeps his practice up-to-date through vision expositions.
Patients visiting Dr. Horn can receive a full range of optometric care. He offers general eye consultations, comprehensive dilated-eye examinations, and fittings for contact lenses and glasses, as well as treatment for issues including dry eye, eye misalignment, cataracts, and glaucoma.
