He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology jointly at the Baltimore City Hospital and Johns Hopkins Hospital. I think entering the office was a bit confusing for me as a first time patient. Dr. Siegel's office wasn't clearly noticeable. There are other medical practices in the same office area. I couldn't tell where the gastroenterologist office was located. However, I found the staff very courteous, professional and kind. I didn't wait long before I was called in to see the doctor. Dr. Siegel greeted me with an air of cheerfulness. He used light humor which was nice. He took the time to explain my report in detail and what he wasn't concerned about from his perspective. I felt comfortable with him.

Dr. Siegel was polite and has great interpersonal skills however, his medical skills could use some improvement. My husband had to insist on certain tests to be performed before Dr. Siegel would even consider them. Thankfully, we insisted because the infection my husband had (found by a different Dr.) landed him in the hospital. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Siegel because of his medical practice skills. Your health is more important! Pick another GI!!!

Completely satisfied with my Doctor visit. Dr. Siegel was very knowledgeable & personable. Although this was my first visit with him, he made me feel like he genuinely cared about my well being and I really appreciated that. Well worth the travel, I will be using him for any gastroenterology matters.

I felt rushed through my interview and exam. I prefer a thorough interview, which would allow me to share more detail on the issue at hand. I also felt that my opinions on treatment plans were not taken into account.

He was excellent and ordered the tests I had been hoping the other doctor would have ordered for my father long ago. He was much more thorough and scheduled a follow-up in 2 weeks so he could make sure that my father had an appropriate response to some new medication.
