I have never been to a more unprofessional medical facility. I was nervous I was at the wrong place initially because everyone was there for a medical marijuana card. When I asked the man at the front desk about if the doctor was board certified, he looked at me like I was speaking another language and could not tell me anything about the doctors education and certifications. He took me aside and told me that he was just helping the doctor out at the front desk so he could do his medical marijuana card thing. The mans who took my blood pressure was wearing baggy jeans and tried to convince me to get a medical marijuana card myself, and when I declined, he continued to encourage me to recommend them to my friends. In the exam room, he had to pull up his sagging jeans multiple times. He told me he didn’t believe the doctor would have to do an actual examination (I do not believe he consulted the doctor on this...), and I eventually met with Dr. Bedeau in his office. Let me begin by saying that I have NEVER been in a doctor’s office who did not have any credentials (certifications, diplomas, etc.) on the wall or visible. The doctor was wearing an unbottoned cotton polo shirt— another first for doctors that I’ve interacted with. He continued to go through the forms I had to fill out in the waiting room (the Zocdoc information did not get into their system, but I’m not surprised by that). With no examination, he told me that the symptoms I listed to him are not explained by my lifestyle and wrote me a prescription for the pain. As he tried to schedule another appointment with me, I mentally thought of the most polite way to tell him that there was absolutely no way I would ever “follow up” with him. I know that there aren’t many gastroenterologists in the area, but please broaden your search range and go somewhere else. I have never been more uncomfortable at a doctors office.
Very informative. Knowledgeable doctor.
Dr. Bedeau was very informative addressing my concerns and explaining the endoscopic procedure. He was very professional and demonstrated a calming bed side manner. I would definitely refer him to friends, family and colleagues.
The wait was inappropriately long (over an hour) and the doctor seemed a bit rush and quick to jump to conclusions. However, once I took the time to give him all the info he was responsive and thorough.
Excellent experience, very professional.
Arrived on time. Was checked-in after about 20 mins and moved to a room where I sat for another 40. When the doctor came in he looked confused as if he didn't know who I was. When he realized who I was, we moved to his office to review my test results over the computer. The results had not been sent. It would be another 20 mins before the tests were sent back to the office. While sitting in his office, another patient was able to peek into the office and tell the Dr. "Dont forget about me." (He had arrived just before I was called back the first time). This seemed to me to be a breech of confidentiality. I will be taking my medical records elsewhere.
Very quick and knowledgable about my situation!
Dr. Bedeau is a very open individual. He fullly explained what my procedure would consist of. He treated me as an person and not a patient...... loved it!
So quick..loved it
I have been seeing Dr. Bedeau since October 2001 and he's smart and patient during visits.
The doctor's office is poorly maintained and in a very old, run down building. I waited 40 minutes past my appointment time before they called me back. Dr. Bedeau, who seemed nice enough, was wearing jeans and a matching jean button down shirt, lots of gold jewelry, no lab coat, and checked his phone twice while we were talking. He spent about 10 minutes with me and with no testing or deeper questioning, told me I have a certain condition, and gave me several drug samples. It was sort of a waste of time. I'm going to see a different gastroenterologist.
The office is better than ever very professional caring nurses and definitely dr. Beduo
It is good to have a written checklist when visiting doctors. Dr. Bedeau is a good listener and assist with symptoms very proficiently and quick. Dr. Bedeau's staff are professional and medical records are kept updated.
He is a great doctor. I had trouble with setting appointments on the DC office so I tried the Largo office. Much better experience. Great doctor. Will answer any questions you have and don't feel rushed. Highly recommend!!
Friendly staff. Dr. Bedeau was listening to my concerns and explained treatments and what are the next steps.
Great waiting was unreasonable but dr was fantastic
It was good
My visit was on a Saturday and from what I can tell on saturdays it is consultations and other services. I had an 11:15am appointment and I was called at 11:15am.. He did see me and discuss my problems and showed compassion and concern and he personally sent in my prescriptions to my pharmacy. Overall it was a very good visit.
Staff was professional and polite. Dr. Bedeau was knowledgable and helpful in assisting me. Looking forward to my next visit.
The doctor is amazing, but his staff members are horrible and no sense of customer care
Dr Bedeau is an excellent doctor. He is very professional and very approachable. I have been his patient for several years and will continue to see him.
I really enjoyed meeting with a Dr. who did not mind taking his time to explain medical terms, my course of treatment and long term medical goals. My visit felt personal and I left with a clear understanding of what the next steps would be in improving my health. The staff was also kind, easy going and professional! Keep up the great work!
My visit to Dr Bedeau's office was excellent, the staff was extremely professional, the waiting room was homely and a friendly atmosphere existed throughout my wait.
Everyone is friendly. However, I didn't see a reason to be waiting for nearly 50 min. No patient left while I was there and the patient scheduled before me came late so that she was moved behind me. Information were given accurately and explained upon request (perfectly o.k.!)
He is a nice person also the lady thats work with him is so sweet they r the best
Not a good experience. This was the first doctor's office where it seemed like nobody cared about anything: not about doing their job well and certainly not about my health. The assistant didn't bother doing vitals because she openly admitted that she didn't know where the equipment was and didn't care. Dr. Bedeau was professional, but not friendly and only seemed interested in doing the bare minimum to get me out of his office.
Dr. Bedeau was very helpful with explaining how he would attend to my health concerns. Dr Bedeau also provided me with clear detailed explanations about the specifics of my health concern.
All went well. Prescriptions said to be sent were not available at pharmacy when I arrived. Had to call back to office to find out why.
This was my follow up visit. Dr. Bedeau was great as usual. He reassured me regarding my results, explained everything in detail, And answered all of my questions. THANK YOU Dr. Bedeau!!

Receptionist was unprofessional and it seemed my visit was rushed being as tho I was the last patient to be seen
After 45 minutes sitting in the waiting room while having seen Dr. Bedeau walking around and exiting the office, I was seen for a total of 5 minutes. The only positive thing I have to say is that his bedside manner for those 5 minutes was good and he was interactive and professional. I was then asked to wait in the lobby until my insurance was confirmed and the procedure was accepted with was an additional 30 minutes before I had to leave to get back to work. Total I was there for 2 hours to see the doctor 5 minutes. To make matters worse, the office has not returned multiple calls in regards to scheduling my procedure. I got a call from the pharmacy (the wrong pharmacy even after I specified where I'd like Rx sent) telling me I can pick up my Rx even though I never received word from the office or the doctor about what was going on. Will not return to this doctor or follow through with the procedure with him and would not suggest this practice to any of my friends or family.
Dr. Bedeau was great. His bedside manners are excellent. He listened to me carefully and discussed my issues in details with me. I would definitely recommend him.
The office staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Bedeau was very thorough in his explanation of my diagnosis.
Competent, caring and professional sums up the quality of services provided by Dr. Bedeau and his staff.
Great customer and patient care
Doctor didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. Didn't check any vitals, just told me to get a colonoscopy.
Wait took a little while, but didn't feel rushed when Dr. Bedeau finally came to talk to me. Very good bedside manner and nice staff as well.
