He was very kind and explained everything that was happening. Equipment was clean. Staff was very helpful. Some glasses are a bit expensive but they have a good price range.
Great service, easy to talk to, great selection of frames.
I was very pleased with the entire visit. I would definitely recommend him to friends
Very knowledgable and personal.
Since I moved to Chicago several years ago, I've gone to national eyeglass chains to see an optometrist. I always felt rushed, like a part on a factory line. The shop doctors tend to be impatient as well. I went to Dr. Nierman because he was on my new vision insurance plan and close to home. My experience with him reminded me of working with my small town family optometrist back home. He was pleasant, forthright, and didn't treat me like an idiot for asking questions. On top of that, the doctor and the office staff all seemed familiar with the clients that came in and out of the store. I think I found a new "family" optometrist!
Although he was running behind, Dr. Neirman was really thorough and incredibly personable. His assistant Mark was also really great and tried to make sure I was seen asap.
Effective and no-nonsense exam. He and his staff were very friendly. It was a bit less of a professional environment than Id hopes for but familial and that was a good experience.
My appt was 2:15pm. I waited until 2:30pm When optometrist came out. Next thing I knew this lady came after me who had no appt wanted to ask a question was taken care before me. Then I was left waiting again up to 3pm. Obviously first come first serve has no meaning in this office. Not to mention I had the appt. Will never go back again. Both my husband & I will look for another optometrist.
Lot's of great technology used and a quick visit.
Overall great! Super informative, thorough, and very friendly staff!
Professional staff and overall enjoyable experience!
I have been going to Dr. Nierman for 14 years and continue to have excellent service. He uses the latest, most effective tools, so the health of my eyes are recorded and I can use the images with my medical doctor for analysis and monitoring of other health conditions.
Dr. Nierman gave me the most thorough eye exam I ever had. He explained everything to me in a way that made me understand eye health like never before. I learned a lot and really felt like I was in great, knowledgeable hands. I am so glad I found this doctor.
I highly recommend Dr. Nierman. He will be my new neighborhood eye care specialist.
Most informative eye doctor appointment I've ever had. Super friendly.
Excellent. Very easy manner yet professional. Thorough and feel as if he is focused solely on you as the patient.
Excellent - very knowledgeable and friendly guy!
Dr. Nierman knows his stuff and asks the right questions! He takes time to explain information and offer solutions that are catered to your needs and preferences.
Very good demeanor. Professional but very nice.
Was such a great experience with Dr. Nierman. He is very knowledgable and the staff was so helpful when trying to pick a pair of glasses
Very personable doctor and staff. Dr Nierman uses new technology to avoid dilation (the Fundus camera) and goes over the photos with you. Very cool.
I woke up with some kind of irritated painful thing going on with my eye. In a bit of a panic, I made an appointment to see Dr. Nierman. I had never been there before and they made the process easy, and didn't even give me a hard time about not having an exam for over a decade. He then throughly checked things out, explained what was going on and I was on my way with a prescription in hand. Needless to say, I'm going to go back and get my long overdue full checkup.
He is always thorough and very willing to take the time to explain things. He is always willing to work with my needs as well. He also always seems to be up to date with new technology.
knowledgable and personable
Great first visit. Would definitely come back.
They're very professional and friendly. I had a really good experience.
Dr. David is great- personable and knowledgeable. His staff was also personable and, more importantly, efficient. I was able to have an exam, get fit for contacts, and pick my glasses out in an hour!
The whole office was fun and friendly. Everyone there was very welcoming and made me very comfortable.
I was impressed with the overall experience!
Dr. Nierman was great. He was strongly recommended to be my a work colleague so I came in for my eye exam with high expectations. Dr. Nierman and his staff delivered. My exam went quickly, and he even took the time to explain the pathology of my eye to me. It was quite fascinating. Brad also helped me to locate some new glasses frames. He was very friendly and honest about which ones looked good and which ones didn't. Overall, I was very happy and impressed with the level of service that was provided to me at the Nierman Vision Center. I will definitely visit them in the future.
very efficient and well organized staff. only had to wait about 10-15 minutes before general check-up. Dr. Nierman very thorough and explained exam benefits. Completely satisfied.
It was great!

Good! I got a lot of information, he was very prompt and detailed. I felt comfortable and in good hands.
I have been a patient for 20 years. That should be an indication of how I feel!
Nierman Vision seems to embrace new technology that reduces the uncomfortable aspects of eye exams (dilation and the air puff test.)
Dr. Nierman and his staff answered took care of my concerns and questions with the utmost care. Dr. Nierman has the latest technology that allows him and the patient to have a better understanding of their eyes.
