Getting to know Dr. David Salvage

I have a strong commitment to working with my patients to achieve excellent results. My training and 30 years of experience focuses on the treatment of anxiety, depression, attention deficit and addictive disorders. I offer both medication management as well as various forms of psychotherapy. I also work in conjunction with various other psychotherapists in a team approach.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I love the work that I do and believe in giving my patients 100% of my experience and expertise. I believe each person's needs are different and embrace the concept of celebrating individuality and finding custom solutions that are specifically tailored to each patient's needs. I offer a blend of cutting edge knowledge of the biological literature about the treatment of anxiety, depression, addictions and attention deficit disorder, and blend this with a humanistic training as a doctor. I also integrate in, depending on each patient's needs, a degree of psychodynamic understanding of not just the ways in which they suffer, but their dreams and aspirations.

    My appointment had to be rescheduled because the availabilities on ZocDoc were apparently wrong. But the Dr. called me right away to reschedule, and I actually got to seem him a day sooner :)
