Dr. David Sawyer started his practice in 1993. After graduating from the University of Texas, and managing a real estate office in Austin, Dr. Sawyer herniated two lumbar discs weight-lifting. This experience led him through the medical maze, and finally to chiropractic, which resolved his pain when nothing else was able to help.
Falling in love with the profession, Dr. Sawyer went back to school, and started life over as a doctor, graduating at the top of his class.
With sons growing up active in sports, Dr. Sawyer has focused his practice on sports injuries, as well as overall health and well-being. He feels that pain relief is better achieved and maintained by fixing the cause of the problem than by treating the symptoms.
