Dr. David Sneed has been a Family Physician in Austin since 1985. Prior to this, he served and trained in the United States Navy and served domestically and abroad as a naval physician. Dr. Sneed is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. and is active in numerous professional organizations, including the Texas Medical Association (TMA) and the Travis County Medical Association (TCMA). Additionally, he is a past Chairman of the Board of South Austin Hospital and currently serves on the board of directors of Easter Seals Central Texas.
Dr. Sneed has his greatest interests in preventive health and anti-aging medicine. He is also the co-founder and medical director of Aesthetica MedSpa, Austin’s very first medical spa and cosmetic dermatology clinic. He is married to Sharon M. Sneed, PhD, with whom he co-founded Aesthetica MedSpa and together they have three children and two wonderful grandchildren. The Sneeds enjoy travelling and photography.

My wife and I have significant health issues so we get consecutive appointments. As always, Dr. Sneed was very patient and thorough and took the time to listen to our requests and explain the reasons for his responses. We both take several medications and he took the time to review and discuss the need and purpose for them and answer all our questions.
Occasionally Dr. Sneed is not available and we see Dr. Dale. We have complete confidence in both and would recommend either.

Dr Sneed is one of the few doctors that I have met that really take the time to test and explore for preventative health. He was able to warn me of a pre-diabetes diagnosis and coach me into beating it. Saved me a lot of suffering later. I would highly recommend Dr Sneed. He takes the time.

I visited Dr. Sneed for the first time today and the entire experience was exceptional. He was genuine, asked me questions specific to my concerns etc, and had terrific bedside manner. I had to provide blood samples (and faint every time I do) so with the nurses aware, they made me feel incredibly comfortable -- and I didn't pass out :) I highly recommend Dr. Sneed and staff.

dr. I have been to several doctor's over the past year due to chronic pain. Every time I left a doctor's office, I drove home in tears. Today I drove home smiling.
