During her 18 years as a family practitioner, Deborah has honed her skills in the treatment of the many conditions helped by East Asian medicine. Among these: musculoskeletal pain, neurological disorders, headaches, and other common complaints. Deborah has also developed a specialty in women’s health, offering wellness care and support for health challenges from menarche to menopause. Acupuncture is used to address hormonal imbalances and challenges related to the menstrual cycle and fertility.
Deborah looks forward to treating you, so that you can experiences the power of East Asian medicine's ability to help the body heal itself. She welcomes your inquiries, and she is always happy to discuss how treatment by East Asian medicine might assist you in achieving your wellness goals.
Deborah completed her premedical studies, graduating magna cum laude from Bryn Mawr College, with a major in Religion. Studying world religions and philosophies in college led to an exploration of different healing modalities around the world, which culminated in her discovery of the power of healing with acupuncture and Chinese herbs. She completed her degree in 1994 with a Masters in Acupuncture, obtaining her license to practice East Asian medicine that same year. Desiring to hone her skills as an herbalist, she completed specialized training, obtaining a certificate in herbal studies in 2000. Deborah completed a certificate program in the treatment of infertility at the Jade Institute in Seattle in 2008. She is actively engaged in furthering her knowledge in the fields of East Asian and Western reproductive medicine and women's health through ongoing study and attending seminars and conferences relevant to the field.

Deborah has a deep understanding and significant knowledge of acupuncture; this is obvious. Her intuitive understanding of the body's energy systems; her deapth of knowledge about herbs; and her technique -- make her a great choice for a first time patient or a regular user of acupuncture like myself.
