About Keri Shaw
At Blue Pearl Acupuncture, we provide treatment for a variety of health conditions using Acupuncture, and many other Traditional Chinese Medicine modalities such as: cupping, moxibustion, tui na, electro-acupuncture, bleeding, and Chinese herbal therapy. Often, in the course of treatment, Acupuncture is frequently combined with the usage of internally and/or externally administered Chinese herbal formulas.
Blue Pearl is owned and operated by Keri Shaw, MSAOM, Lac, LLC. Keri is a graduate of Bastyr University, receiving a dual Masters in Acupuncture Science and a Masters in Oriental Medicine. She is licensed in the state of Washington and is NCCAOM board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Keri also completed an extensive hospital externship at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Peoples Republic of China, and is currently a Licensed Massage Practitioner.

My experience with Keri Shaw was very unpleasant. She was rude and dismissive from the beginning.
I had trouble finding the clinic entrance and called for clarification. when I explained that I was lost, she sighed heavily &said, “oh my God.” She told me the clinic was inside the 1818 building. When I tried to confirm, “oh, it’s inside the building?” she cut me off sharply &said, “Well if you listen then I can explain.” I was taken aback but stayed quiet and let her finish.
When we finally arrived at her office, she rolled her eyes &remarked, “well that was quite the trip.” Both my husband &I were shocked at her attitude.
She then took my insurance card and very dismissively told me that our insurance didn’t cover her services, so we would need to pay out of pocket. By this point I was already feeling unwelcome and disheartened.
I had been looking forward to acupuncture ahead of our IVF & was seeking a supportive and professional environment. Unfortunately, this was absolutely not it.

I adore Keri! She is highly knowledgeable and a master at her craft. I came to her with stress and a persistent SI joint pain that was debilitating. Seeing her regularly has drastically decreased my pain and flare-ups. I recommend her to everyone. She cares about you and is invested in your overall well-being. From first timers to regular acupuncture recipients, she will be there to guide you through the session, and you will have tangible results.

Keri Shaw at Blue Pearl Acupuncture is EXCELLENT!! A highly skilled and knowledgable acupuncturist, Keri took the time to listen and learn about my issues. She offered several helpful suggestions and insights from a Chinese Medicine perspective. She was thoughtful, kind and not at all rushed during intake. I felt listened to and understood. I felt so listened to, respected, and taken care of. After only two appointments I already am feeling so much better, physically and mentally. I was a tad skeptical about acupuncture helping with mental health, but along with other treatments and general health awareness these acupuncture treatments have truly helped with my anxiety. I love going to Keri because she actually cares about you as a person, you physical pain, AND mental pain.

Keri has a great bedside manner. She is empathetic, kind and a tuned in listener. One of the things I appreciate most about her is that she clear on what acupuncture can and cannot do.
