Dr. Deepa Chintala has been a Hospitalist with Texas Health Presbyterian Hospitals in the Dallas–Fort Worth area since 2009. As a Hospitalist, her primary practice was focused on providing care for hospitalized patients. There she gained a great deal of experience and understanding of many aspects of her patient’s needs during their hospital stay. Now, Dr. Chintala wishes to continue that outstanding care and be uniquely available for her patients in a primary, personalized clinic setting.
Dr. Chintala has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) since 2007. She served as Chief Medical Resident at Hackensack University Medical Center – Mountainside in New Jersey where she completed her residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Chintala earned her MD from Andhra Medical College, India in 2000.
As a North Texas resident, Dr. Chintala is active in several local Philanthropic activities and Community causes. She endeavors to volunteer her time as a physician to underprivileged families in rural communities in India and Nepal. She is fluent (spoken and written) in English, Hindi, and Telugu. She delights in spending time with her husband and two young boys, family, and friends. Dr. Chintala enjoys cooking Indian cuisine, reading, and working out.

Dr. Chintala is really wonderful. She is one of, if not the only doctor I’ve seen that I actually felt like was whole heartedly listening to me. She really cares about your health, comfort, and well being. She takes as much time as you need and answers all questions with and incredible level of care.

Dr Chintala is a very professional, genuine, and caring doctor. She really takes the time to assess your health and go through all your concerns, even though I am a relatively young patient with no major health problems (thankfully). She is very thorough and explains any potential health problems and also addresses any concerns you may have. She is really sweet and seems to truly care about patients health and wants them to be their very best, as she advised me to lose weight for my health. The staff is really nice too, and Dr Chintala has excellent follow up care! I highly recommend her.
