If you have any questions about this, please call our office. Nurse practitioner Deirdre Couture (pronounced “Dear dra / Cou ture”) is devoted to the health and well-being of her patients. She believes in a strong mind-and-body-connection and works with patients to help them better understand their own bodies in healing and overcoming stress. Deirdre started practicing as a registered nurse in 2001 and transitioned to work as an adult gerontology practitioner in 2006. Her areas of clinical interest include adult and geriatric medicine, behavioral health, dermatology, naturopathic medicine, and orthopedics. Deirdre earned her undergraduate degree in health studies at Simmons University in Boston, MA. She also completed her master’s degree and nurse practitioner training at Simmons University. She is certified as an adult gerontology practitioner (AGNP-C) with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is also fluent in Spanish and French. On a personal note, Deirdre has two sons and a pet dog. She is involved with a local non-profit group that gives back to the local community. Deirdre also enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, hiking, collecting rocks and minerals, and searching for sea glass along the shores of New England.
