A graduate and former resident of Howard University College of Medicine, Dr. Chevalier is known for her warm and personable approach to care. Dr. Chevalier has over 30 years of experience, and is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics. We are a member of Privia Medical Group. You can schedule online at the Privia.com. There you can join the patient portal, check in for your visit, and complete certain information about yout medical history. We offer virtual visits on Mondays and Wednesdays. You must be an established patient, have a strong internet connection, and use Google Chrome. You can download the app for Android or Iphone. Please call the office or go online to book virtual visits. We provide travel immunizations and immigration physical exams through our practice, Washington Travel Immunizations. We do not accept insurance for this practice.

Dr. Chevalier is one of the most patient doctors I've ever seen. She really takes the time to listen and evaluate what you have to say. She also asks plenty of questions to make sure she is getting all of the information needed to treat you properly.

I'm sure Dr. Chevalier is a good allergist. Her staff is very nice. However, I wish someone would have told me that I couldn't take my allergy medicine for a few days before arriving. It rendered my appointment utterly pointless. Iwas in the office for 2 hours without really getting an answer as to what was going on.

Dr. Chevalier and her team were so very kind and helpful. A patient had an allergic reaction on site and the entire team was extremely apologetic about the additional wait time. Once my appointment began, Dr. Chevalier listened carefully tomy health history, asked me questions to clarify the information I was giving, and spent time to listen to what I was currently experiencing. She also suggested medication based on my preference of relying on natural remedies. Dr. Chevalier and her team were a pleasant reminder of what health care should aspire to be and reminded me of what respectful, thoughtful, and human-centered care feels like.

I like Dr. Chevalier and her staff a lot. This was my second visit. The only thing is that the wait once I was in the appointment room was quite a long time, so the appointment lasted longer than I anticipated.

Dr. Chevalier and her staff were nice, but I have been very unimpressed with their actual service. They did not warn me not to take antihistamines before my appointment, even though they were clearly going to need to do a skintest. My skin test came back negative, so I was sent to do a blood test. Five weeks after the test and I still had not heard anything, so I called the office. They just told me that my test was negative and offered no apology for not having contacted me nor any guidance as to next steps. I will not be returning, even though my allergies are very much not under control.

When I actually got to speak with Denise I thought she was very attentive and responsive to my questions and answers. Additionally, the physician's assistants were extremely efficient. However that was only after I was actually seen. My appointmentwas for 2:00 and while they put me into an examining room very quickly I then sat in the examining room by myself for an additional 45 minutes. The doctor apologized for the wait time once she arrived and like I said she was extremely attentive once there so I'll just chalk it up to a busy day.
