Dr. Denise Erdem started her career as a Primary Care Physician after a decade in banking with Citibank and Lazard Freres. Prior to launching her private practice as a solo practitioner, Denise invested three years with the premier Cardiology group in Miami, involving intensive hospital and office care, providing pre-op clearance, and post-op care.
Denise is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Erdem has a keen interest in all areas of preventive medicine, including women’s health, cardiac disease, hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, and working with patients who struggle with anxiety.
An internist for over 10 years, Denise builds a strong doctor-patient relationship that fosters sensitive caring for a multi-generation of patient families: grandparents, parents, and finally their young-adult children.

This was my first apt. with Dr. Erdem and she took time to get to know me and truly connect - even though we were working remotely. I look forward to meeting her in person.

The only good part is that she accepted me as a walk in because I was sick. However, she dismissed my complaints and told me to be more patient and continue with the treatment, even though I was in severe pain. She also prescribed steroids, which is basically what doctors prescribe when they don’t know what’s wrong with you. I asked for more help and she unwillingly gave me a referral for a gastroenterologist. She was condescending and told me I was being impatient with my illness, despite me insisting that I was in severe pain.

I hate going to the doctors and procrastinated an annual checkup for 9 years! Dr. Erdem was amazing! She answered all my questions, took the time needed to catch-up with my health and even taught me about caffeine-free drinks (vs. de-caffeinated ones). I think I found my doctor and I’ll go back next year for sure.

I arrived at 1:55pm for my 2:15pm. I was taken to the room at 2:15pm and could hear the doctor with a previous patient in the next room. After about 10 minutes she left that room and went to another room with a different patient. Very unprofessional to see walk-ins before someone with an actual appointment (when I signed in there was a walk-in signed in before me). When I came out at 2:30pm the receptionist told me it was 2:15pm and then she realized the correct time. Will definitely not becoming back.
PS: what kind of doctor's office advertises botox? should've taken that as a sign and walked out right then and there....
