Dr. Baiza's bio:
Born into a family of two physicians and spending much of her time in hospital and outpatient clinical settings, Dr. Baiza’s passion for medicine began early. Originally from Czechoslovakia, Dr. Janka K. Baiza studied medicine at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague, graduating in 1996 with a Doctor of Medicine degree. After relocating to the U.S., she established her family in Miami, Florida, and pursued her vision of practicing medicine here. Dr. Baiza completed her internship and residency in Family Medicine at St. Clare’s Hospital, an unopposed family practice residency program in Schenectady/Albany, New York, graduating in 2008 at the top of her class. She is Board certified in Florida in Family and General Medicine.
With over 13 years of clinical experience, Dr. Baiza is a highly skilled, well-rounded family medicine physician. She has honed her skills in inpatient and outpatient settings and gained broad cross-disciplinary experience in current medical trends. She especially enjoys women’s health, preventive medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, obesity treatment, and endocrinology. She helps patients achieve health goals by building passionate bonds over their lives. Her enthusiasm is driven by the joy of keeping patients healthy and well. Patients’ well-being, improved quality of life, satisfaction, and happiness through collaboration are her ultimate priorities.
