I began my journey to midwifery first as a breast feeding support nurse in a local hospital's NICU. After I had my first child, I became a certified childbirth educator. With my last pregnancy, I got to experience midwifery care. I was so impressed that the next logical step for me was to become a nurse midwife. I wanted to provide to some one else the same type of care that I received during my pregnancy and delivery.
I have been a certified nurse midwife for thirty years. All the while it has been my intention to provide high quality, holistic, client-centered care to women through out the life cycle that meets or exceeds the expectations of the women I serve.
