Dr. Derek Taylor received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Utah in Spanish. He received his medical degree from The University of Utah School of Medicine. He then completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore Maryland. He and his wife Renae, moved to Portland, Oregon to complete his medical training at Oregon Health Sciences University in Gastroenterology.
His interests include therapeutic endoscopy, gastrointestinal motility disorders, and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Taylor enjoys the beautiful outdoors. He and his wife fill their free time mountain biking, skiing, and exploring the Northwest.
