So I am confused to see good reviews. She isn’t a mean person but she says things that come off insulting. She told me they have STD testing which is fine but then she made a comment like “I don’t want you infecting one of my patients” even though I’ve been with one person majority of my life. Or told me that I don’t have the condition I know I do because of my use of technology. I called prior to my appointment asking if she was comfortable prescribing medicine for me and they said yes but after blood work and when I get there she pretty much told me no and that I need to learn new ways of coping with my “problems”. She is still very young but wants to stay in the realm of when technology barely existed. Which in my opinion makes a bad doctor because technology has brought new advancements in medicine and new ways of healing people. But overall I don’t recommend her. Definitely one of the weirdest and worst encounters I’ve had with a doctor.

Dr. Naik is now my primary doctor that's how great she was. She made me feel extremely comfortable and allowed me to explain my symptoms and how I was feeling and came up with a solution. When the solution didn't work she recommended a follow-up with a specialist. So far I've seen an allergist from her recommendation who has help me with a food and seasonal allergy problem that I've been dealing with for years. I am scheduled to see another specialist for other problems and I am completely confident in their future diagnosis.
She is a phenomenal doctor!!!!!

Dr. Naik tells me she's been with the practice (Elmhurst Medical Associates) about a year. Based on seeing her once at the Addison St. office and twice when in the hospital (different problem), she's a keeper.

I was a new patient for Dr. Dhara Naik, and I know I have a very complicated health history. Two recent hospitalization for DVT and PE as well as stage four cancer. I was not happy with the group I was with, and thought I would try with a new doctor and a new group. Boy am I happy I did. Dr. Naik was professional and knowledgeable but never made me feel like I was not part of my treatment plan. I felt confident in her medical opinion and was treated with respect and kindness. So very glad I made the switch to seeing Dr. Naik!
