Dr. Dhruti Patel hails from Cincinnati in the buckeye state and completed her medical education in Ohio. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kent State University and went on to earn her medical degree at Northeast Ohio Medical University. During her medical training, she was chosen for the prestigious Doris Duke Clinical Research fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. Upon graduation, she completed her residency with University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. She was faculty member at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, teaching medical students and residents during her time.
Dr. Patel has also co-authored publications on topics ranging from advanced renal pelvis imaging in urothelial cancer, to studies on open, laparoscopic and robotic partial nephrectomy. She was an active participant in the American Urological Association North Central Section and Ohio Urologic Society.
Dr. Patel has garnered years of experience in Urology with special interest in urological cancer, robotic surgery, female urology and adult congenital urology. She is actively a member of the American Urological Association as well as The Society of Women in Urology. Along with her devotion to providing the utmost Urological care to her patients, Dr. Patel loves to spend her free time traveling, golfing, running and enjoying Atlanta’s amazing food scene.
