Dr Girnita completed a PhD in immunology, a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University, immunology fellowship at University of Pittsburgh and rheumatology fellowship at University of Cincinnati. Dr. Girnita graduated from the Nutrition Science course from Stanford University and a Mindfulness course from The University of Massachusetts. She was recognized with the “Top Doctor” award (2017-2020) and is frequently invited guest speaker of the National Arthritis Foundation and American Congress of Rheumatology.
Dr. Girnita continues her academic appointment as volunteer assistant professor at University of Cincinnati Medical Center where she is involved in research and teaching services. She is the founder of the Autoimmune and Arthritis Support group on Facebook that has more than 10000 members and growing.
