Dr. McGrory was very clear, listened beautifully and answered all my questions and concerns.
She clearly knows her stuff and is super bright, yet able to easily communicate on my level.
I left feeling very hopeful and at ease.
She is a true professional. I am so glad I found her, & hope to be able to use her as my gynecologist for a long time.

Dr. McGrory chose a career in gynecology because it allowed her the opportunity to care for women and utilize her surgical skills. Dr. McGrory is a graduate of Smith College where she studied biochemistry and studio art. She received her medical degree from the Dartmouth Brown program in medicine in 1985. In 1989, she completed her residency at Tufts New England Medical Center and St. Margaret's Hospital for Women.
Dr. McGrory has been involved in cervical cancer education and its link to HPV infection. This has helped her care for the patient with an abnormal pap smear. She enjoys helping patients with perimenopausal symptoms, fibroid management and minimally invasive surgery. She also has a special interest in pediatric and adolescent gynecology.
Dr.McGrory is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She was chief of gynecology at Dedham Medical Associated from 1998-2001. She has practiced at Newton Wellesley Hospital since 1990, where she is a member of the Executive Committee.
She lives in Wellesley with her husband and 2 children.

Difficult to find parking at 10 am on a weekday( tiny lot was full) so would not attempt an appt during the winter months with snowbanks; parked on Colpitts road with my car half on the sidewalk
Excellent customer service w the receptionist booking my mammogram at another location.
Dr McGrory is experienced( not too young and not too old) and personable.
Didn't have to fill out papers bc I already did on ZOCDOC prior

I was shocked when they called me out of the waiting room exactly at my appointment time. What a pleasant surprise! Dr. McGrory asked lots of questions and took lots of notes. She was friendly and efficient. The office staff even registered me and arranged my Mammogram appointment with a different facility right from the office! Lastly, it was a great convenience to have completed all my paperwork on ZocDoc ahead of time.

Dr. McGrory was professional, thorough, patient and at the same time efficient. She asked a lot of questions and really took time with me 1-on-1 to understand my medical history as well as explain everything about the exams/tests she was going to perform. I liked Dr. McGrory very much, she exceeded my expectations. I do feel that I spent a long time filling out on-line forms in advance of my appointment, as well as paper forms in the office, but she had not reviewed them, although I believed all of this would help her understand my reason for seeing her. I also needed to reschedule an appointment at one time, and left several messages with no return call, which was of concern to me.
