He is a Licensed Psychiatrist in Virginia ; a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at George Washington University School of Medicine; a Certified Neurolinguistic Programming Trainer and EMDR Practitioner; Fellow and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marital & Family Therapy (former member); a Distinquished Fellow: American Psychiatric Association; a Charter Member: American Family Therapy Academy [former member]; a Charter Member & Fellow: Association of Medical Educators and Researchers in Substance Abuse (former member); a Charter Member & Fellow (former) North American Association of Neurolinguistic Programming; and listed in: Who's Who in the World and Who's Who in Medicine and Health Care. He is the author of Alcoholism Treatment: An Integrative Family and Individual Approach, and about 30 articles on Families and Alcoholism, Neurolinquistic Programming in family and individual therapy, and on understanding time differences in families and couples with ADD/ADHD and non-ADD/ADHD members.
