Dr. King-Adekunle was born and raised in New York and educated at Pace University in Westchester County, NY with a BS in Biology/minor in Chemistry. This was followed by her education at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA where she was awarded her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. She completed her podiatry residency at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Wilmington, DE.
Dr. King-Adekunle then pursued and completed her MBA degree at Widener University in Chester, PA. Her career has included private practice, long-term care, and healthcare management in large corporations such as NYC Health & Hospitals Corporation and Catholic Charities. She was also the recipient of the Innovation Service Award in 2003.
Dr. King-Adekunle and her family relocated to Georgia in 2021 and she enjoys the cultural and musical vibe of Atlanta. She spends leisure time by attending musicals and theater, a green thumb for large and small plants, and practicing piano. In addition, Dr. King-Adekunle has developed a skin and nail care line to further aide in the care for her patients.
