Dr. Liss has been focused on the treatment of mood disorders since he became involved in a study of bi-polar disorder being conducted at Columbia University shortly after his Residency. He feels mood disorders are still being inadequately or ineffectively treated. Every person with depression should be able to be offered complete remission from it's terrible symptoms. This is despite how severe or for what duration these symptoms have been present. Time and perseverance are basically the only thing a patient has to bring to the table. The ingredients for complete recovery are now there. It is just a matter of finding the correct combination of treatments for any afflicted individual. Sometimes my patients recover rather quickly, that is, within weeks. Sometimes it seems to take forever, that is, many months. The goal i.e. complete recovery is ALWAYS obtainable. This I state with absolute certainty based on my years of practice as a Pyschopharmacologist.

After zocdoc scheduled and confirmed me at a time already booke by the doctor, I managed to reschedule with his incompetent assistant only to have him cancel on me two hours prior to the appointment.
