Dr. Duc Nguyen is very thorough with his eye exam. He listens to concerns and answers questions. Instead of an ophthalmologist's recommended tear-duct surgery or prescription drops, Dr. Nguyen helped me find the right disposable contact lenses that my dry eyes tolerate very well.

Dr. Duc Nguyen has been practicing optometry for over 20 years. He sees patients of all ages and strives to give patients the best vision care possible. His practice emphasizes a holistic and patient-centered approach to vision care that ensures a high standard of care with quality treatment options and advice. He specializes in developmental optometry, also known as behavioral or functional optometry, but general eye care is always available.
Dr. Nguyen grew up in the Northern Virginia area. He received his undergraduate degree fom Georgetown University before completing his doctorate at Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. His externships included a rotation at the U.S. Air Force Academy. While there, he assisted with setting up the sports vision program at their Human Performance Laboratory. His other rotation was spent at Atlanta Eye Associates where eye disease co-management was the emphasis. At Pacific University, he received the Tole Greenstein Award for Excellence in Vision Therapy.

Dr. Nguyen is an exceptional optometrist. His kindness and courtesy is matched only by his professionalism. It is readily apparent that he has a sincere concern for his patients and genuinely cares about their well being. he is accomodating and even went out of his way to help me with paperwork I needed for medical clearence for a job. If you want a friendly and professional optometrist with a genuine concern for your care then you must see Dr. Nguyen.

I have to date had three great visits with Duc Nguyen. I keep coming back because he takes his time to make sure that I get the best possible prescription- more than can be said for a "push 'em in, get 'em out place built into a retailer. My contact lens fitment has never been better, and my vision (with the lenses) is now 20/15. I'm confident it would never have been this good without his genuine concern. Highly recommend.

Excellent. Dr. Nguyen spends the time necessary to fix problems with my vision. My "special" eyes take extra time to be corrected for distance (myopia), astigmatism, and double vision. I've never been rushed and am always happy with the results.
