Dr. Noguera was born and raised in Cordoba, Argentina where he attended medical school at the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba (founded in 1613, it is the second oldest university of the Americas). He moved to the United States in 1994 to complete a research fellowship at the National Institute of Health. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Saint Raphael Hospital at Yale University in 2000, and his gastroenterology and liver disease fellowship at the combined Georgetown University, Veterans Administration Hospital and National Institute of Health program in 2003. Dr. Noguera joined the Gastroenterology Group in 2003 where his professional interests include colo-rectal cancer screening, esophageal disorders, liver disease, interventional, therapeutic endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound for staging of gastrointestinal cancers. He is bilingual in Spanish and lives in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife and their five children. He enjoys many sports, and in addition to playing in an adult soccer league since 1996, he coaches his son's soccer team.

Both Dr Anita Wolke and Dr Eduardo Noguera were personable and professional. They talked to me right before the procedure and afterwards. My friend that dropped me off and picked me up...was so impressed with the ease and professional service that he told me, he will switch to using them for his next procedure.
