Dr. Edward Costa graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 2007. He received his postgraduate residency training from Montefiore Medical Center, in Bronx, NY. Dr. Costa completed his Residency in 2010 in Podiatric Medicine and Surgical Training where he served as Chief Resident of the program. He has extensive surgical training in forefoot, rearfoot and ankle procedures. Prior to joining Bergen Medical Associates, Dr. Costa was an Associate in private practice for several years in the Rockland, Westchester and Bronx, NY areas. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the New York State Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Costa specializes in foot surgery, diabetic foot care, sports related injuries, pediatric foot care (over 10 years old) as well as custom orthotics. Dr. Costa is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

My son has seen Dr. Costa many times for a dermatological condition on his feet. Dr. Costa is always friendly, Knowledgeable, and patient. He treats my son like his own child & explains everything in detail. He completely cured his problem and also recommended orthotics. The only downside is now we have no reason to return! Wish he was a pcp!
