Dr. Curcio is one of the most helpful doctors I have ever encountered in many, many years. He immediately put me at ease and I felt extremely comfortable with him. He takes great care in getting to know his patient during the initial visit. It does not take long to realize how well versed he is in his field. I am extremely pleased that I chose him as my doctor. I highly recommend him.

He was very thorough and I felt like he really took the time to understand me. I really like that he is willing to recommend medications AND other interventions that have scientific backing, such as exercise for depression. It made me happy to know I was getting all the information that could help me, not just some of it.

Edward Curcio is an experienced and compassionate psychiatrist treating and consulting his patients in Falls Church, VA. Dr. Curcio is bilingual, speaking English and Italian fluently. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and he is affiliated with the Inova Fairfax Hospital. Dr. Curcio is a member of the American Society of Psychoanalytic Physicians, the American Psychiatric Association, and the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Washington Psychiatric Society.
Dr. Curcio received his medical education from Georgetown University. He then attended the Saint Elizabeths Hospital to complete his internship in psychiatry, before he completed his psychiatry residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was named chief resident. Dr. Curcio continued his postdoctoral residency at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dr. Curcio then returned to the Mount Sinai Hospital to complete his fellowship. Dr. Curcio assists patients who are experiencing somatoform disorder, sleep problems and disorders, sexual identity disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, development disorder, personality disorder, alcoholism, worry, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Dr Curcio does not ever prescribe ADD medication on the first visit.

Dr. Curcio is one of the most helpful doctors I have ever encountered in many, many years. He immediately put me at ease and I felt extremely comfortable with him. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Curcuo truley takes the time to examine his patient's history, lifestyle,family medical history and past diagnosis when he makes his decisions. He is truley a professional who take the time to listen and makes real life recommendations that plain make sense to the average person. His approach is one I am not used too but was pleasantly suprised by. I would highly recommend this doctor to friends and family whom I care for. I can't say enough good about him. I look forward to my next visit.
