Dr. Edward J. Sanchez Jr. is trained in Urology. He attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, before completing his residency with Baylor’s Scott Department of Urology, both located in Houston, TX. Dr. Sanchez is a proud member of the American Urologic Association, Texas Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. His clinical interests include general urology, laparoscopic and da Vinci robotic surgery, men’s health, low testosterone, infertility, medical and surgical treatment of prostate enlargement, erectile dysfunction, kidney stone management, vasectomy and vasectomy reversal, voiding dysfunction including overactive bladder and urinary incontinence, implantation of urologic prosthetics, and oncology including prostate, kidney, bladder, and other types of urologic cancers.
Dr. Sanchez is fluent in both English and Spanish. He has completed ten years of medical training in one of the largest medical centers in the world. During his six years of residency, he was able to train in a variety of hospitals and clinics that offered him valuable perspective into several different health care settings and patient populations. Dr. Sanchez’s exposure includes common and exceedingly rare urological conditions, as well as procedures ranging from minimally invasive treatments to large open surgeries.
