I was looking for a new primary care provider and selected Dr. Sankary based on the positive feedback I read online. My first visit with him as a new patient was excellent! He was very thorough, a great listener, and took his time reviewing everything with me.

Dr. Sankary is so knowledgeable and kind. He took his time with me, he listened to everything I had to say and my exam was very thorough. He is a phenomenal doctor and I highly recommend him. His staff was so nice and friendly too.
Dr. Sankary has been my doctor for many years. He is a great diagnostician who takes his time and listens. His staff is kind, efficient and helpful.
Dr Sankary is an excellent physician. He has a very warm, and professional bedside manner, that makes someone feel at ease in his presence. His compassion and caring are wonderful, and always takes time to listen to a patients concerns. His patience is limitless, and does his best to make sure you understand once he makes a diagnosis. I highly recommend Dr Sankary as a physician.
I've been with Dr Sankary for 10 yrs on a recommendation of an acquaintance. I was dissatisfied with the care I was getting from my previous primary care physician. I'm glad I made the switch. His medical advice can be blunt at times but is always sound. He never skimps on making sure you are seeing the appropriate specialists or getting the necessary tests. I also enjoy his wry sense of humor.
I appreciate Dr. Ed. Sankary as a physician. He has been an excellent physician for me to work with for about the last decade. I have no concerns about him. But I do about Loyola! I am diabetic and have been for decades.Because I am diabetic, I see Dr. Sankary every three months. At my last visit, Dr. Sankary recommended that I be evaluated for a Continuous Glucose Monitor and an Insulin Pump. But it took about two months to get a appointment with the diabetes education department, and more importantly, about four months to see one of Loyola's endocrinologists. That means that I will not get to see the endocrinologist until almost a month after I will see Dr. Sankary again. That is not acceptable. That is not Dr. Sankary's fault. Rather LUHS has a management problem of which I can easily discern two aspects. First, it needs, at the least, to get additional endocrinologists, if possible, who are highly competent. And second: frankly, a referral from one of Loyola's own primary care physicians should rate a more rapid response from the endocrinology department than merely a "new patient" who goes to the back of the line.
There is usually a wait to see Dr. Sankary but is well worth the wait. He spends a good deal of time with me, I never have felt rushed and he thoroughly goes through all test results and any new or existing health concerns. He sees my husband as well and he was hospitalized a couple of times and we felt we had the best care from Dr. Sankary. He is very reassuring especially during serious health problems. As a retired RN, I feel I have the best of care with Dr. Sankary and would highly recommend him and his Staff to any new patients.
Dr. Sankary is an excellent physician and is clearly knowledgeable and current in his field. He listens carefully and is very thorough in assessing your medical condition and follow-up treatment plan.
