I have third stage clear cell sarcoma cancer and multiple other problems. And I must say that they are trying their best to compensate me to the best of their abilities at this current time. I work 12-16 hours days. I have already lost my left foot due to clear cell sarcoma cancer and it has returned. I'm in constant pain! And this clinic is trying their best to help me. But with the government attacking all doctors, their scared to give me what I really need to get by. I love them all. They are so friendly and attentive towards me at all my visits. And they have gone above and beyond to help me with my insurance company that are giving us a hard time with my medications. They are a great team. So if you really need a good supportive doctor, you will find them here. Thanks ZOCDOC

Dr. Perez is a Dual Board Certified Pain Management Physician and Anesthesiologist who has been practicing in both fields since 2008. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Carnegie Mellon University, and his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-where he also completed a Residency in Anesthesiology and obtained his Anesthesia Certification (formerly UMDNJ, now Rutgers University). He completed his Residency in General Surgery at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, and earned his Pain Medicine Certification from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Dr. Perez works with a diverse patient population seeking treatment for a variety of pain and pain-related illnesses. As his practice developed, he developed particular interests in conditions such as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Migraines, Cancer pain, and Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) therapy.
He has held positions as Director of Acute Pain at Newark Beth Israel in New Jersey, Director of Chronic Pain Services at Centurion Pain and Anesthesia based in Valley Stream, New York, and is credentialed with the NYU Health System, Brooklyn Hospital, and Wyckoff Hospital.
When not at work, he enjoys reading and event production. He also enjoys storytelling shows and sharing stories, which on one or two occasions has led to winning for best story told!

Rudest doctor I have ever met. He did not look me in the eye at any point. When I said “Pleased to meet you”, his response was “I doubt it”. Refused to take me as a patient, assumed I would ask him to prescribe something inappropriate, told me there were lots of other doctors in the City. Dreadful doctor.

I waited more than an hour to see the doctor. Then they told me to go to a different location. Then after another hour, the doctor spoke to me for less than 5 mins and rushed out. Leaving the PA to continue the appt. And leaving the patient unsure of what he is taking, why, how it'll help, what are the benefits/side effects. Dr Perez seemed not to care about my well-being and chronic pain. He assumed my situation rather than taking a minute to ask what has been nothing me. He made a diagnosis without a conversation.

Not bad, they didn't judge me and treated me like a human being. The only problem was if my primary care doc wasn't out sick they gave me the same meds I'm already getting from him. I feel like that's ripping off the insurance company almost but, what do I know? All I do know is I'm still in pain and I need more help than they gave me..

What other Doctor couldn't do,Dr.Edwin Perez shall did explain in details what was my problem with my visit He's a patients MD.There should be more of him helping out chronic pt. One thing you don't do is give your back or heart to any doctor BUT Dr.Edwin Perez in the short period of time knowing him you start to feel that truth in him.
