I was very pleased with the experience. Dr. Gashi is highly attentive and offers her advice clearly and thoroughly. She seems personally vested in her patients' health and experience.
Excellent bedside manner: Dr. Gashi takes the time to listen and understand what's going on with the body as a whole in order to get to the root of the problem instead of simply masking symptoms. This is extremely important to me but has become increasingly rare in U.S. physicians, especially in NYC. These days I expect to be rushed through my medical history, have my symptoms dismissed and feel thrown out of the office without the opportunity to ask half the questions I came in with. My experience with Dr. Gashi was the polar opposite. She is attentive, patient, thorough and friendly. She takes the time to explain things and is accessible for follow-up questions (for those of us who come up with new questions after leaving the office). I highly recommend her and have already referred a friend.

I just moved to the city and was looking for a doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Gashi! She is very sweet and was attentive to any concerns that I had. I arrived for my appointment a few minutes early and I went right back to see Dr. Gashi, didn't have to wait in the waiting room. Walked right into the exam room to meet with Dr. Gashi.
I love her. She is not on my insurance but I am willing to see her out of pocket. Very attentive, thorough, and well prepared!

I've been looking for an internist for several years that I felt comfortable with and I'm so happy that I finally found Dr. Gashi. She took the time to get to know me and I cover all my health concerns and discuss my family history. Dr. Gashi was so attentive, she even called me back with ultrasound results an hour after I left the imaging center at 8:45pm. I also thought her staff was excellent and made scheduling and paperwork run very smoothly. I really feel like I'm in good hands with Dr. Gashi and so happy that I found her on zocdoc!

Good.
Great!! Dr. Gashi explained my problems in detail. She was personal, kind and thorough. I appreciated she saw me while I was in office for routine check up.
Dr. Gashi is terrific- she's so knowledgeable, smart and experienced. She asked a lot of questions and took notes on all my responses. She was comforting and kind and I really felt that she listened to my concerns and recommended the right steps. I called her twice with questions after leaving my appt (which was on the later side of the day) and she answered both times promptly and kindly. Would highly recommend.
