Dr. Benaim is originally from Israel, and he grew up in Argentina, where he earned his medical degree from the Escuela de Medicina Vargas. He then completed his postdoctoral training with a surgical residency at the Southwestern Medical Center and a urology residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital of Dallas, and another at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He completed his fellowship with the American Foundation for Urologic Diseases in 1995.
