After completing her Bachelor's degree, Laura moved to Gainesville, Florida to pursue her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the prestigious University of Florida - the first university to have a School of Physician Assistant Studies within its College of Medicine. During her training, she was able to gain hands-on experience working with esteemed physicians in a variety of top-notch facilities throughout Florida and in Plano, including health departments, homeless shelters, the Veterans’ Hospital, and Tampa General Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center. Laura now resides in Prosper with her husband, two sons, and their furry companions. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and brings a patient-centric approach to healthcare, combining preventive medicine, acute and chronic disease management, and education on healthy lifestyles. At Internal Medicine Associates of Plano, it is our mission to provide the highest standard of care to our patients and the communities we serve.
