I appreciate Dr. Gould. She was professional and even tempered, though I’m not sure she was really looking out for me or going the extra mile. Still, I found her solid and would consider seeing her for future appointments. Watch out for the receptionists, though. Some are kind while others can be cold!

Dr. Gould is a professional with an easy going manner. She helped me greatly recover from a bad experience with another derm doctor! She is friendly, explains everything, talks about follow up and asks if you have questions. She take her time in explaining her answers. So glad we have a great trustworthy physician.

I grew up in the Bay Area. I majored in English Literature at Brown University, and then attended medical school at SUNY Downstate in New York. After completing a medical residency at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, I received my Board Certification in Internal Medicine. I then completed Dermatology training at Stanford. While now focusing my practice on dermatology, my medicine training gives me a foundation of medical knowledge on which I draw every day.
I'm sure I was influenced to consider dermatology because of my father's enthusiasm for his career, and now working together is a gift. I very much enjoy all aspects of dermatology. I particularly like seeing people of different ages, from new babies to patients with 100 years of life experience. In addition to the interesting medical challenges, I cherish the relationships with my patients and our ongoing conversations.

Not a warm person, more wanted things done. My old dermatologist was warmer and more service oriented. Here I got a paper of medical codes to call my insurance company if it’s covered. My old helped with that without me asking.

While Dr. Gould was fine, I was told my prescription would be called into the CVS the day of my appointment at 5. 3 days later I call the office because I hadn't heard from the pharmacy saying the prescription was filled. I was told the doctor never filled in the rest of her notes, they have no idea what my prescription was even supposed to be, and don't know whether it was called in or not. I didn't hear one apology or "I'm sorry."

Dr. Gould is great. I've been coming to this office for years and rarely have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. She's easy to talk to and friendly and responsive to my individual needs. Services seem priced fairly and she's conscientious about advising me of charges not covered by insurance. I liked her so much I brought my son to see her too. Her rapport with people of all ages (she also saw my grandmother) is excellent. I'm confident we're receiving the highest quality treatment.

I am in my 20's with Acne. I relocated to the bay area and had to find a new dermatologist. I was appalled that Dr. Gould spent less than 10 minutes with me as a new patient. Said, "I'll send in some prescriptions for you but you'll have to figure out whats best." She handed me a bag full of samples with no explanation and sent me on my way.
She had no advice or any insight to offer or even a PLAN besides, "try it all and see what works." I've been going to the dermatologist since I was 13, she is by far my worst experience.

I generally go through Palo Alto Medical Foundation but couldn't get in to any of their dermatology offices anywhere same day. I found zocdoc and within minutes had an appt. booked w/ Dr. Gould. What a stress relief. They called me to confirm within 15minutes and could see me even sooner than the appt!! Everyone in the office was friendly and I can't believe I was in and out of the office in 30 minutes. Incredible. I had quick hydrocortisone shot for cystic acne and an Rx for some gel. Highly recommended!!
