Dr. Muss listened and discussed my symptoms at length. She provided detailed explanations of her findings and recommendations to alleviate my problem. Very concerned and easy to talk to.

going to the Dr. can be stressful if you're a hypochondriac like me, but i just needed my annual physical. I LOVE this doctor and my experience for so many reasons: She took her time, didn't rush, told me some stories, asked me a lot of questions. She entered info herself rather than an asst. She is hands on and i loved it. Made me feel like she was my great aunt who knows a lot about life! She came across very trustworthy. I liked her! Also, she has a real bed not a hard "table" to lay on during your exam. I laid there relaxed while getting vitals taken from little nurse who has been practicing nursing for 40+ years, speaks Spanish; don't expect her to be warm & fuzzy, but she knows what she's doing. First time i had blood pressure taken while standing up. Doc told me reason why that's done. Brilliant! Also, when nurse stuck me with needle for blood, didn't feel a thing. This doc is the real deal. I hope she keeps accepting my insur. as i will CERTAINLY visit her again next year. Actually, when my labs come back, she requires that you come back in to review and discuss. Love it. I wanted to give her a hug.

I would highly recommend Dr Muss, She is Brilliant , witty and very knowledgeable. I made my appointment on ZocDoc because she was in my insurance network. I was pleasantly surprised to be seen right away She has extensive testing for cardiology patients. Love her!!

Hello, I need someone to immediately reach me about this. I have never in my life experiences the utter lack of care and unprofessionalism that I witnessed from the "Dr" I was harrassing by today. I use the term doctor in quotation marks as she did not see me as a patient, but rather someone to VERBALLY ATTACK. I went to the office of Elizabeth miss on Tuesday and had blood drawn for an annual physical, upon attempting yo return the for the results today I was contacted and told the Dr is running late and I need to come an hour and a half late...OK, I said...I guess I'll come than. Unfortunately the inconvenience didn't stop there. I waited in the waiting area for over 50 minutes before I had to ask someone to see me because I had to be at an obligation and my appointment was over 2 hours ago. I changed and got the EKG and was told "the Dr will be right in"- the nurse was subsequently arguing with me about the appointment time and insisting there was no fault done by the office, it was VERY uncomfortable. The doctor didn't show and I waited 40 minutes before I demanded results The doctor runs in and starts yelling at me that I couldn't wait "because I have a 100 year old patient wheezing in the next room" I informed her I had waited over THREE HOIRS and that she should call an ambulance if her patient is so I'll She started to at the point SHOUT and tell while poinring aggressively. I was uncomfortable and started to put my clothes on, requesting her to stop telling g as I was not going to engage in the conversation anymore She then begins to tell at the nurse My boyfriend that was waiting in the waiting area heard the doctor yell "she's a nasty sun of a gun" , not knowing I had come with a visitor. She marked all over the results and shouted at me to "look at it myself and figure it out" "since you don't have time" She finished my screaming that she is a cardiologist and doesn't do physicals normally... What kind of doctor is this to offer to your customers? This is harassment, this women yelled and demeaned me all while I was trying to check my blood levels since my father died of cancer and I try to keep track of this kind of thing. This is an embarrassment...I will no longer be using zocdocs services.
AWFUL, JUST AWFUL. 1. First time I went in, she made me cry. She belittled my problem and I had to tell her I'm here because I went to the ER once and ever since then I have been scared any time I have chest pain. Someone I know had also just passed due to a heart attack which prompted me to go get a check up, and she was extremely rude. She ended up apologizing after I cried out of frustration and said that she struggles with her attitude and how she speaks sometimes. So I said ok, and moved on. 2. Second time I went in... oh man.. I WAS THERE FOR 2.5 HOURS during a work day. I had no idea what was going on at first, but it turned out that she was asking me basic questions which she had already asked, and dictating them into her computer, which I completely did not need to be there for. I was supposed to receive the full report of my situation in the mail soon after that - I DID NOT RECEIVE IT FOR OVER A MONTH. Apparently even after spending hours and hours with me, she didn't know what my first and last name was (she switched them), so she had to redo everything. 3. I had bloodwork done, and the nurse really struggled with finding my vein.. which was strange because everyone tells me I have really good veins.. but we poked my left arm too many times so we had to switch to the left. Left feeling QUEASY. 4. Just went in to get my results - I WILL NOT EVER BE GOING BACK TO DR. MUSS AGAIN. First of all, THEY STILL CALL ME BY MY LAST NAME. Additionally, I was running tight on time and I had been waiting for the doctor for a while, so I got up to tell them, hey, I need to leave soon, FYI. Then 5 minutes later, in comes Dr. Muss huffing and puffing and says: "YOU DONT CARE, I DONT CARE. HERE ARE YOUR RESULTS. VITAMIN D .. THIS THIS, ... THERE YOU GO. YOU'RE WELCOME. AND I WILL BE TAKING COPAY ON THAT!" and she stormed out. I am still appalled by how a doctor could LASH OUT and speak to a patient this way. And to think I actually went to the front to see if I had copay.. (which i didnt haha)... I am still very much in shock and left feeling extremely disrespected.

Dr. Muss was outstanding.

Dr. Muss seems like she was a sweet enough lady, but i had a really terrible experience here. A year later, and I'm still shaking my head. In the original general consultation visit, Dr. Muss spent a lot of time muttering and pacing around the room, and was very hasty and not very gentle with the exam, almost like she was robotically going through the motions of an exam she's probably done hundreds of times before, but couldn't slow down and make me, the patient, feel comfortable. At one point during the consultation, she sits down and starts moaning, and takes one of her shoes off, and reveals a bloody bandaged foot that she starts massaging in the middle of my exam!! and then she muttered something about having a bone spur and needing more medication, and then puts her shoe back on and goes on with the exam. At this point I'm in shock. Next, for some reason, even though I had a pretty much clean bill of health (except a slight heart murmur i've known about for years now) Dr. Muss' office made me schedule THREE more additional exams to be had in the next month. Being new to New York at this point, I agreed. When the first one came around, they called me an hour before to tell me the technician didn't show up that day, and then she was going on vacation for two weeks, so I would have to make another appointment for another three weeks from that date! At that point, I'd had enough, so I cancelled all three of my appointments and terminated my care with Dr. Muss. The only thing great about her office were her nurses. They were very sweet, and SO much more professional than her.
I arrived before time, all forms filled out and was later told that the doctor is running late. How late? Over 45 minutes. Was made to take my clothes off and put on a medical gown, and then they told me the doctor will take care of me in the other room- NOW. So i had to walk across the corridor. The doctor apparently was feeling too hot, and thought it would be wise to turn the heat off. The walls in the room were moldy. She is a primary care physician but apparently she doesn't prescribe birth control pills (because she doesn't want to) which was the primary reason for my visit, apart from the annual check up. No where does it say that on her profile, so now I have to make an appointment with an OB-GYN. She seemed like a knowledgable doctor but all the other factors ticked me off.
She was complaining about ZocDoc patients during the appointment. Wouldn't listen to my problems and tried diagnosing random things instead. Not a patient anymore.
Though I was only visiting the office for a flu shot, and Dr. Muss is not my Primary Care, I was disappointed with the staff's friendliness and overall welcome. I am a 22yr old female who entered with a friendly smile and "hello." The receptionist seemed miserable and bothered by my initial entrance. The nurse who administered my shot never once smiled back and was rather rude as well. Their facility is also old and could use serious updates, for both the office and their equipment. At one point, another doctor stormed in to complain about a "banging" noise he kept hearing through the walls that was "driving him crazy." I would not go back and do not recommend.
HORRIBLE. After each measurement that was healthy (blood pressure, etc) she kept saying "This looks good which is surprising because you are SO overweight. I am 175 lbs and 5'7. She made me feel terrible. They also didn't have a TB test, which I indicated I would need when I made the appointment, and verified that they would have it over the phone. I needed to come back twice to take the test and then for her to read it. Staff were rude and had loud (offensive) conversations with patients in the waiting room.
Dr. Muss really knows her stuff and cares about her patients' health. She is very honest and has years of experience to inform her analysis. I definitely recommend her.
Dr. Muss is very thorough and cares for her patients. Unfortunately this can result in a longer wait time but it's worth it for a proper diagnosis
I went to Dr. Muss for a physical today and the experience left a bad taste. When I found out the physical was charged as a primary-care appt instead of preventative care, I asked how the pricing structure worked. Dr. Muss waived my co-pay but said I would have to pay the co-pay for the follow-up visit. I asked again why that wasn't considered preventative care, and was shocked by how rude she suddenly became. Dr. Muss asked me why I couldn't afford the co-pay given my occupation, told the receptionist this would be my last visit to the office, and told me to find a new doctor. While the office was efficient, the nurse and receptionist were great, and Dr. Muss is a competent doctor, her lack of professionalism is unacceptable.
Very helpful. She is concerned for your well-being. I made the visit because I had a serious allergic reaction to tree nuts and she immediately addressed the situation, aligned me with an allergist and changed the way I look at my allergy. She literally saved my life.
Dr Muss was informative and very accomodating.
She kept referring me as a ZocDoc-er and insists on only taking your temperature anally. Yes you read that correctly- anally.
she is very thorough than I anticipated - for a quick check up for my on going flu. She still has a list of tests on my overall health :)
I find her to be very thorough, engaged, willing and able to think outside the box, and I got the distinct impression she loves what she does; which is always a good sign in any profession. She immediately referred me to a physical therapist for a problem I was having, and got me in to see him that day!! Impressive!
I am a new patient of Dr. Muss'; having had my first appointment with her in October 2012. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am absolutely terrified of doctors but Dr. Muss has changed that for me. She is very straightforward and gets right to the point, but at the same time very thorough in exploring your particular symptoms and the underlying cause. During my first appointment, she identified an abnormality in my EKG and has been incredibly attentive in ensuring that I get the best treatment possible and staying on me to make sure I am doing what I should be doing. She has called me at home and on weekends to check in on me, and has even taken several calls from me to quell my fears and ease my mind that she has put me on the right track and has my best interest and well being at heart. I would be remiss if I didn't also mention her nurse Sonia, who is not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but also has the best dry sense of humor and is a total pleasure to deal with. The rest of the staff is quick, courteous, and enjoyable to speak with. I'm incredibly thankful that I have found Dr. Muss, and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and thorough medical care provider.
great
My visit to Dr. Elizabeth Muss office was a delightful experience. She was respectful and informative. She spoke with you, not at you. In all, my experience was excellent with the doctor and her staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Muss.
Overall, the visit was ok.
It says Primary Care Doctor on your website she is not a primary care doctor she is a cardiologist your site needs to be updated
