Excellent. Except that ZocDoc did not get my information to them prior to my appointment, and I had to fill out all of the forms again. The doctor was fabulous. I really liked her and they were very fast and efficient in getting me through the appointment.

Dr. Ellen Kozob attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where she graduated with a degree in Biology. She then continued her education at the Illinois College of Optometry and earned her Doctorate of Optometry in 2013. While at the College of Optometry, she worked in many specialty clinics and found an interest in contact lenses and ocular disease.
Dr. Kozob is able to bring the latest in research and technology to the practice and is dedicated to providing her patients with the highest quality of eye care. Dr. Kozob has special interests in the fitting of contact lenses and the co-management of systemic diseases that can affect a person’s eyes and vision. She is certified in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases including dry eye, allergies and eye infections.
Dr. Kozob specializes in tough to fit contact lenses and will work with you to find the perfect lens that promotes healthy, clear vision. She also has experience in the co-management surgical care of Laser Vision Correction patients.
Dr. Kozob holds membership in the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association. She lives in Lincoln Park with her husband. Outside of the office, she enjoys cooking, traveling and entertaining at home with friends and family.

Her entire team was friendly, professional, and very accomodating. I've never had a better experience with optometrists. Dr. Kozob was able to prescribe me with a pair of colored contact lenses that no other optometrist had even been willing to consider. Additionally, every member of her practice demonstrated the same quality of service and flexibility. I highly recommend this team!

Dr Kozob and her staff are knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. They work with you to find a pair of glasses that suits your personal style and your needs and explain every part of the examination and procedure before you go through it. They're personable and don't mind having a conversation with you about something other than glasses, which is always a good trait for a staff to have.

First I wan to say that the reception/administrative staff was awesome. I do not remember her name but she she was super friendly, accommodating, and just an all around nice person, even after I was a few minutes late. Dr. Kozob on the other hand was less pleasant experience. My main problem with her was her apparent assumption that I could have developed medical problems, which i believed was a poor judgement on her part because of my size! First she checked my eyes then asked me if I had been tested or diagnosed with high blood pressure, diabetes, all the usual assumed fat folks diseases. I was concerned since she asked right after she checked, giving me the impression that she saw something concerning with my eyes. After telling her a number of time, I have never, and do not have any of those problems, I asked her what was wrong. Then she tells me nothing, and said that she just asks to make sure her patients total health is being taken care of. Complete rubbish! She didn't ask if I had a mammogram or anything else, only those diseases that people assume you have when you are overweight. I was disappointed because I have been here a few times, I have recommended this place to family, and I take my child here. This is the first time I have been truly disappointed with my experience. If I can see another Dr. I will go back, otherwise I will be searching for a new eye Dr.
